GHMC panel nod for sports complex
GHMC’s Standing Committee on Thursday accorded sanction
for a multi-purpose sports complex at Musheerabad and office
accommodation at Government Central Press, Chanchalguda in lieu of
structures lost on account of road widening.
Chaired
by Mayor Mohammed Majid Hussain, the panel also approved widening of the
road from NFC junction to FCI godown in Kapra Circle involving an
expenditure of Rs.1.98 crore and laying of CC road in the widened
portion for a grade separator at Tolichowki. Measures to improve water
supply in the areas of Ahmednagar were also approved. The panel also
discussed and gave a nod for construction of RCC retaining walls and
bridges at 10 stretches on the Balkapur nala, according to a press
release.
