GHMC plans to improve facilities for staff
By March 2014, all the zonal and circle offices of the
Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) would be made
pollution-free work centres and equipped with all facilities for the
employees, GHMC Commissioner Somesh Kumar said here on Tuesday.
The
Commissioner who has been visiting different offices of the civic body
and holding employees’ grievance day, observed that lot of complaints
pertaining to maintenance of buildings, furniture and other facilities
were received.
Illegal structures demolished
The
GHMC staff carried out demolition of illegal constructions in Circle-12
at Chandanagar and removed seven structures including four huts and a
shed from GHMC open spaceopposite Kadmini Hospital.
