GHMC special meeting on February 8
HYDERABAD: Co-option of three persons including a woman having knowledge or experience in municipal administration is to be taken up the third special meeting of GHMC scheduled to be held at 11 a.m. on February 8 in the council hall. Mayor B. Karthika Chandra Reddy has requested all members to attend.
Meanwhile, some corporators have requested Ms. Reddy to ensure that the amount fixed for nomination works be enhanced from Rs. 50,000 to Rs. 5 lakh and get it sanctioned immediately through the zonal commissioners so that public works can be taken up without delay, a press release said.
