GHMC to conduct face-to-face grievance
HYDERABAD: The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation ( GHMC) will conduct a face-to-face programme on Saturday for redressal of public grievances.
The programme will be conducted between 4 pm and 5 pm under the chairmanship of the mayor.
During the one-hour programme, public grievances will be received over telephone in the first 30 minutes and later representation on various problems will be received from the people who come in person.
Various department heads like commissioner of police, managing director of Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board, district collectors of Hyderabad and Ranga Reddy, chief engineer of metro zone, Transco, DGM of BSNL, regional manager of APSRTC and nominee of South Central Railways would participate in the face to face programme and redress the problems pertaining to their respective departments.
People could call on the telephone nos 23221978, 23222018 and 23261330 between 4 pm and 4.30 pm for bringing their problems to the notice of the officials.
