GHMC to give incentives to honest workers
The GHMC is planning to give incentives as a token of
encouragement to honest sanitary workers, Commissioner Somesh Kumar said
here on Wednesday. All steps will be taken to ensure that their
salaries are deposited in their respective accounts on the first day of
every month starting January 1, 2014.
Speaking at a
training programme for sanitation workers of Circles 11 and 13, he said
Deputy Municipal Commissioners and Medical Officers would be responsible
for the disbursal of salaries.
Free training
The
GHMC will conduct free training courses in accounting (with finance or
accounting software), insurance, computer assistant/DEO, supply chain
management, media journalism/editing, homecare nursing, medical lab
technician, customer relations and sales, pattern makers/tailoring and
in personality development.
The classes will be held
from December 2 onwards, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Bahadur Yaar Jung
Hall, Anjuman, Chanchalguda. They are being held in association with
