Government water tankers to cost more
HYDERABAD: The Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board (HMWS&SB) has decided to enhance the rates of water tankers from the present Rs 250 to Rs 325 from the customers with effect from April 3.
The decision has been taken after a meeting held between the Water Board Managing Director M Jagadeeshwar and Tankers Owners Association of Water Board here today.
Of the Rs 325 collected for supplying 5,000 litres water, Water Board will get Rs 135 per trip in the form of coupons and tanker owners will get Rs 190.
