GPS for VMC vehicles

All vehicles of Vijayawada Municipal Corporation must
have Geographical Positioning System along with a log of condition of
the vehicles for proper management, Municipal Commissioner G. Panda Das
has said. He also wanted a check list put in the vehicles and reviewed
the repair works of the garbage lifting vehicles. He asked the officers
to make drivers of the vehicles responsible for the condition and take
immediate action for any faults or deficiencies in its maintenance.
