GVMC panel approves works worth Rs.1.71 cr.

VISAKHAPATNAM: Works worth 1.71 crores were approved at the standing
committee meeting of GVMC on Thursday with Mayor Pulusu Janardhana Rao
in the chair.
They include three works worth Rs.74.95 lakhs in Ward 59, a community
hall with an outlay of Rs.47 lakhs in Ward 46 and a storm water drain
at Sheilanagar with Rs.49 lakhs.
The meeting also approved acquiring vehicles for transporting garbage in zones 4,5 and 6 on a war-footing.
Postponed
Leasing out of Bheemnagar Kalyanamandapam and Potti Sriramulu Kalyanamandapam was put off for further examination.
Members Ch. Nagaraju, Garikina Gowri, J. Sreedhar, B. Srinivasa Rao, P. Vijayachander and K. Vengala Rao participated.
