GVMC plans stray dog survey

VISAKHAPATNAM: The Municipal Corporation plans to take up a survey of
stray dogs, enumerating their number and those covered under
administering of anti-rabies vaccine and the birth control operation.
At a meeting on Tuesday, Commissioner V.N. Vishnu directed officials
to take up the survey from January 20 and complete it by March 15. If
necessary, the students of veterinary polytechnic should be involved in
the survey.
“Surgeries should be taken up at Gopalapatnam, Gandhigram and Chinagadili and VSPCA centres.”
