GVMC services through citizen charters, says Commissioner
A total of 42 services will be provided through citizen
charter and residents have to apply for the services through the
charters at the GVMC main office and zone offices. Municipal
Commissioner M V Satyanarayana said in an official release that if the
service was not provided within the stipulated time, the employees
responsible have to pay penalty to the applicant.
All
applications should be submitted at the citizen charter counter and a
receipt obtained. Applicants will receive an SMS with registration
number of the application, time and other details.
The GVMC will not be responsible for applications not submitted at the counter, the Commissioner said.
