Health flying squad for city
The Kochi Corporation will launch a health flying squad
with the objective of protecting people’s health and keeping the city
clean. The squad will check cleanliness and hygiene of hotels and
hostels in the city, keep a close watch on waste being dumped on the
roadside, and settle people’s complaints on the spot. Two vehicles have
been arranged for phase one of the project. Public Works Minister V.K.
Ibrahim Kunju will inaugurate the project at 11 a.m. on Thursday at
Rajendra Maidan, says a release.
