Housing blocks opened

A total of 180 houses constructed by the Slum Clearance
Board at an estimate of Rs. 5.14 crore at Machuvadi and Sandaipettai
here were declared open by Chief Minister Jayalalithaa through video
conferencing. The houses have been allotted to the sanitary workers of
the Pudukottai municipality and cobblers. District Collector C.
Manoharan distributed sweets to those who had been allotted the houses.
