Delhi govt, MCD to install TV screens in capital for CWG
NEW DELHI: The Delhi government and the MCD would together install giant video screens at 24 places in the national capital for enabling the people to watch the Commonwealth Games.
The decision to this effect was taken today in a meeting attended by Rakesh Mehta, Chief Secretary of the NCT government and officials of the civic body. The video screens would be installed at various places in south, east, north and central Delhi. They would be installed by private parties on BOT (build, operate and transfer) basis, sources said.
