CHANDIGARH: Multi-level parking lot to have solar panels: Sector 17 multi-level parking lot will be equipped with solar panels.

The UT architecture wing on Wednesday wrote a letter to municipal corporation engineering wing, asking it to comply with its orders of making the lot solar-energy efficient. a??MC has been told to abide by the UT orders as it is mandatory to have the facility of solar energy plants at every government building. Some time back, we were told to ensure the facility at the recently-inaugurated Sector 17 over-bridge too,a?? said an official of the MC.
