Mayor inspects house construction under JNNURMStaff Reporter | Bhopal
Mayor Krishna Gaur inspected the construction of houses for urban poor at Arjun Nagar, Madrasi Colony and Indra Nagar under the Jawaharlal Nehru National Urban Renewable Mission (JNNURM), here on Monday. Bhopal Municipal Corporation Manish Singh also accompanied her during the inspection.
She directed officials to provide electricity connection to all the houses soon and to provide water tap connection with arranging syntax tank of 200 litre for drinking water.
During the inspection, she also directed to arrange the shops, situated in Tulsi Nagar in front of Madrasi Colony and also instructed officials to shift dwellers in the buildings where construction work has been completed.
Responding to the complaints of theft cases, Manish Singh appealed from local residents to help watchman to restrict increasing theft cases in the houses, being constructed in the area. He also instructed officials of the BMC to register complaints in this regard.
