VUDA Board to decide on land-pooling issues

Issues relating to Paradesipalem land-pooling project and the request of some owners to withdraw from it will be placed before the forthcoming VUDA Board meeting. In his second meeting with land-owners and farmers on Thursday, VUDA Vice-Chairman N. Yuvaraj said the request for return of land consequent to their withdrawal from the project would also be decided at the meeting.

The land-owners allotted plotted area in lieu of their land handed over to VUDA would be allotted land as per the agreement and registration to those already got allotment would also be completed. He directed the Estate Officer of VUDA B. Bhavani Das to collect complete details from the land-owners and also confirmation letters from those willing to withdraw from the scheme. About infrastructure in the layout, Dr. Yuvaraj clarified that all roads would be laid as per the agreement and arrangements for water supply would also be made.

But underground drainage work would be taken up only after settlement starts in the layoutbecause early completion would lead to damage of the system due to non-utility.

Administrative Officer B. Nagabhushanam and others attended the meeting.
