AMC demolition drive continues

AHMEDABAD: The estate and encroachment department demolished illegal constructions in Khadiya ward. The unauthorized construction of 31 shops in 7,300 sq ft of area in TP scheme 18 in block No. 11 and 12 of plot No. 12 were pulled down by the central zone team of AMC after they were found being constructed without proper permissions.

The owner was trying to construct illegal shops in parking space allotted to Ghantakarn Market which was pulled down due to lack of proper permissions. In another demolition, the estate and encroachment department demolished illegal constructions units in Kalupur ward.

The unauthorized construction in 2,100 sq ft of area on Relief Road near Dhariya Pol was pulled down by the central zone team of AMC. The owner of Royal Tyre was trying to set up an illegal complex.
