He held a meeting with Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation Commissioner M. T. Krishna Babu on various measures to be taken to mitigate the sufferings of the affected families.

Mr. Krishna Babu informed the meeting that the State Disaster Response & Fire Services Department had promised necessary help and also to take care of vulnerable areas when required.

Memos to be issued

He also directed the Zonal Commissioners to issue charge memos to the officers not available for monsoon rescue and rehabilitation operations.
