BMC Commissioner reviews deadline cases

The Bhopal Municipal Corporation (BMC) Commissioner Vishesh Garhpale reviewed the deadline cases on Wednesday and instructed the officials to resolve them within the given time limit.

 While reviewing the deadline cases, he was informed about the complaints submitted through CM Helpline and Tally Solution Centre. While instructing the officials concerned, Garhpale asked them to resolve the complaints immediately that are registered during the public hearing as well.  He issued a show cause notice to two assistant engineers for remaining absent during the meeting on Wednesday. Further, during the meeting, BMC Additional Commissioner, Pramod Shukla and other BMC officials were present.

 He was also informed about the various complaints that were registered during the public hearing at different wards of the Corporation. While reviewing the ongoing development works he instructed the officials to finish the work of sewer channelization immediately, resolve the pending cases, to resolve the leakage problem of water supply pipelines, to begin the construction work of classrooms at different governmental schools under the Sarv Shiksha Abhiyaan and to look into various deadline cases and resolve them immediately.

 He further asked the officials to issue a show cause notice to assistant engineer of ward 03 Akhilesh Jain and assistant engineer of ward 01 Nasir Ali for showing irresponsible behaviour and not remaining present in the meeting. He further instructed the officials to remove the encroachments from various areas of the city. Under this action, he asked the officials to remove the illegal construction from the governmental land of Ashoka Garden, Kotra, Kamla Park and nearby areas. He also asked the officials to remove encroachments from various public places, footpaths and roadsides.
