AMC to rent out SP Stadium for private functions

The AMC standing committee Thursday decided to rent out Sardar Patel Stadium for activities other than cricket. This will be done when the stadium is not scheduled to host any matches. Committee chief Bhupendra Patel said the daily rent for exhibition-cum-sales will be Rs 2.5 lakh, Rs 1.5 lakh for music and garba functions, Rs 60,000 for kavi sammelan, Rs 50,000 for get-together, Rs 25,000 for religious meets and Rs 10,000 for government events.
