Road-widening: Mayor told to sort out the issue
BANGALORE: Expressing concern over varying statements issued by different ministers, the mayor and officials on the road-widening project, Opposition leader in the Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike Council M Nagaraju has said the different statements have only added to the worries of the common man.He said the government should take a stand on the issue and discuss the same in the Legislature and only then issue a statement and order.
He said the people were worried whether demolition work will be carried on according to the markings on the walls.
He asked the ministers and the mayor to hold a discussion on the issue and have a joint press-conference to tell people the exact plan of action.
