BMRCL asked to repair roads

BANGALORE: The state civic authorities and metro rail corporation have been asked to fix the roads and broken pipes in and around Indiranagar.

On Friday, Advisor to Chief Minister on Urban Affairs, A Ravindra and Bruhat Bangalore Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) Commissioner Siddaiah visited the areas around the metro stations.

Ravindra ordered the officials from the Bangalore Water Supply and Sewerage Board (BWSSB) to fix the broken pipes on CMH Road, Ulsoor Road and SV Road.

Further, both BBMP and BMRCL have been asked to asphalt the battered road and repair the footpaths on the stretch for the convenience of the daily commuters. The commuters and traders blamed BMRCL for carrying out the metro work without proper coordination, resulting in the damage of water supply pipes on the stretch.
