B'lore varsity campus to get speed breakers

Commissioner Siddaiah said the main road laid inside the Jnanabharthi
campus, Bangalore University (BU) by the Palike at the total cost of Rs
11.25 crore, will get speed breakers installed at 11 places.
Higher Education and Tourism Minister R V Deshpande had recently instructed the Commissioner to put the speed breakers since numerous students travel at high speed on the road, stated the BBMP press release.
BBMP Commissioner Siddaiah carried out an inspection inside the campus and interacted with the University officials to get their suggestions regarding road safety. He ordered the engineers from the Major Roads department to set up scientific speed breakers at 11 places and do road marking, the release added.
