Dry waste collection
Staff Reporter
The Bruhat Bangalore Mahanagar Palike will complete setting up of the dry waste collection centres in all wards of the city. This will help in collection and segregation of dry waste and the garbage need not be sent to the dumping yard. BBMP Commissioner Siddaiah said setting
up dry waste segregation units and composting of wet waste would help address the garbage issue. The BBMP has also requested the citizens’ co-operation to ensure the success of the campaign. Meanwhile, private organisations have also made a commitment to participate in the
‘Wake up Clean up’ programs, according to a press release.
