Property prices rise by 15-20% in city: Credai VP

INDORE: A three-day property fair organised by Confederation of Real Estate Developers' Association of India (Credai) began in the city on Friday. Talking to media, vice president, Credai, Leeladhar Maheshwari, said, "More than 50 big real estate firms of the city are participating in the show. Also private banks are directly providing finance to the home loan aspirants during the event." A similar fair was held in 2011 also.

Property prices in the city have almost increased by 15-20% over the last six months, feel the people related to the industry.

Senior manager, IBD, Sai Prasad, said, "The price of flats in the eastern area of the city have gone up by Rs 200 to Rs 1951 per sq ft over past six months and it was likely to go up to Rs 2100 over next six months".

Senior sales executive of another real estate firm, Arpit Trivedi, said, "The property prices have gone up by Rs 200 on bypass over past few months to Rs 2400 per sq ft."

The visitors were happy to get a plethora of residential options along with attractive offers and deals on their favourite properties and with the lucky draw, they even got a chance to win loads of mega prizes. City mayor, Krishnamurari Moghe, appreciated the united efforts of Credai members for putting up a big scale show by saying, "I feel immense pleasure that for the second year of the show I have got a chance to be a part of it and I believe it will be a huge success. The show promises to bridge the gap between the builders and the buyers. Shows like this will surely give Indore a national recognition and the builders of the city are a vital part of the overall infrastructural growth that the city has attained."

Vice president, home loans at Axis Bank, K Praveen Prakash, said, "I feel proud to be associated with a show of this grandeur, a show that's truly of an international level where we can interact and get in touch with our customers.
