Top Pune Municipal Corporation officials transferred

PUNE: The civic administration on Wednesday transferred officials of the rank of deputy commissioner in the Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC).

Assistant commissioner Madhav Jagtap has been given the charge of anti-encroachment department. Sunil Kesari, who was heading the technical department, will work as zonal commissioner of zone 1, while Vijay Dahibhate, the current zonal commissioner for zone 1, will take charge of the technical department.

Deputy commissioner D P More will head the sky sign department, while Ramesh Shelar, who was in the news for alleged encroachments in the properties owned by his wife and family members, has been given charge of security department. He was removed from the two posts on Tuesday, said a senior PMC official.
