Gandhi Jayanti Mela from October 2
NEW DELHI: The Municipal Corporation of Delhi is organising a three-day Gandhi Jayanti Mela at Pragati Maidan here beginning October 2.
The mela will be open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and entry will be free. Performances by Shubha Mudgal, Daler Mehndi and Uma Sharma will be the highlights of the cultural programmes being organised as part of the mela. Entry to these events will be through invitation on first-come-first-served basis.
