VUDA Children’s Day celebration from tomorrow
The eight-day VUDA Children’s Day celebrations will begin on Thursday evening at Gurajada Kalakshetram with competitions for children in various events.
Under the guidance of VUDA Vice-Chairman N. Yuvaraj, programmes have been chalked out combining entertainment with competitions. Arrangements have been made under the supervision of the in charge Vice-Chairperson M. Janaki and VUDA Secretary G.C. Kishore Kumar.
Among the inaugural day’s items is a special dance item ‘Panchamukha Siva’ marking Kartika Masam. Actor and writer Gollapudi Maruti Rao and Ms. Janaki will inaugurate the celebrations.
Spot registrations for the competitions will also be taken at the programme. VUDA PRO B. Prabhakara Reddy has been coordinating the programmes and competitions and about 300 schools, dance and music institutions are taking part.
