Commissioner-collector conference on Dec 19

BHOPAL: Chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has called a conference of divisional commissioners and district collector on December 19 from 10 am at Narmada Bhavan, Arera Hills in the state capital. Chouhan is scheduled to discuss with senior officers various issues during the conference to be held in three sessions.

In the first session, Chouhan will address officers on construction of 15 lakh houses for urban and rural poor, Mukhyamantri Khet-Sadak Yojana and discussions concerning Social Justice Department. In the second session, discussions will be held on increasing area under irrigation from 25 lakh hectare to 40 lakh hectare, crop insurance and crop losses, skill development of one lakh youths and Mukhyamantri Yuva Swarozgar Yojana and expansion of small & cottage industries.

In the third session, discussions will be held on public distribution system, upgradation of health services, good governance and public service delivery and law and order. Chief minister Chouhan will address the conference at 6 pm.

Additional chief secretaries and principal secretaries of concerning departments will be present during discussions.
