Cold weather forces schools to remain closed till Jan 11

All city schools have been asked to remain closed till January 11, “in view of the low temperature and extreme cold weather”. The advisory was issued by Directorate of Education on Monday. “Due to extreme cold conditions prevailing in Delhi, it is hereby ordered that all unaided recognised schools of Delhi under the Directorate of Education will remain closed till Jaunary 11, 2014. All MCD, NDMC, 7 Delhi Cantonment Board Schools are also directed to stay closed till January 14 2014,” the notification stated.
