Mayor visits Gandhinagar Corporation

Mayor Koneru Sridhar along with other officials from the Vijayawada Municipal Corporation on Monday visited Gandhi Municipal Corporation in Gujarat to study various reforms introduced for the overall development of the city.

Municipal officials in Gandhinagar gave a power-point presentation on the geographical area, population and number of wards in the corporation limits to the team.

Town planning officials explained in detail the developmental activities taken up in commercial and residential areas.

The Mayor and his team also visited the IT hub.

The team also elicited information about the garbage collection mechanism and functioning of urban health centres.
