JNNURM award for GVMC
Greater Visakhapatnam Municipal Corporation has been selected for an award in the implementation of the Jawaharlal Nehru National Urban Renewal Mission. It will get the award for “Pro-poor reforms implementation” in the projects it has taken up under the mission.
The award will be received by Mayor Pulusu Janardhana Rao and Commissioner B. Sreedhar at a JNNURM conference to be addressed by Prime Minister Manmohan Singh in New Delhi on Thursday.
