Haryana Govt sanctions Rs3,000 cr for road, rail projects in Hisar

Hisar will be developed as a counter magnet city in Haryana. For, Haryana Government has sanctioned ambitious rail and road projects involving an investment of Rs3,000 crore for the development of the area.

Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda said that these projects included Rohtak-Hisar four-laned road and Hansi-Rohtak railway line. Hooda, who was addressing a gathering in Hisar on Sunday, said that these projects would enhance the opportunities for investment in the area. He said that Hisar would witness tremendous development in next about seven-eight years.

While reacting to the disinformation campaign launched by the Opposition, he urged the workers of the Congress to apprise the people about the facts so as to give a befitting reply to the Opposition. He said that former Chief Minister, who is involved in the JBT teachers recruitment scam and his sons were misleading the people by saying that Hooda had conspired against them. But in fact, he has never acted with any vendetta.

Hooda made it clear that if he had to do so, he would have got them sentenced immediately after assuming the office of Chief Minister. He said that case was registered against Om Parkash Chautala in 2003 and at that time he himself was Chief Minister, whereas their supporting party BJP was in power at the Centre. On the orders of the Supreme Court, investigation was initiated and FIR was lodged against him in 2004 whereas, Congress formed Government in the State in March 2005.
