Gaur asks officials to beautify Boat Club to promote tourism

In order to promote tourism in the State capital Urban Administration and Development (UAD) Minister Babulal Gaur instructed officials concerned to revamp the boat club along with other tourist spots of the city.

He asked the officials to especially concentrate in beautifying boat club, lower lake, fish aquarium to Khatlapura temple ghaat. UAD Minister Babulal Gaur along with BMC Commissioner Vishesh Gadpale, officials of MP Tourism Department, Capital Project Administration and officials of BMC visited various tourist spots of the State Capital and inspected the ongoing development works as well.

Guar while visiting Lower Lake instructed the officials to run shikara there and further asked them to start the shikara within 15 days. During the visit at Fish Aquarium, Gaur also inspected the Kayaking Canoeing Sport Club. He further instructed the officials to construct a mini restaurant to provide better facilities to the players as well as the tourists. He asked the officials to construct a shade and make it look more attractive.

He further asked the officials to beautify the Khatlapura temple ghaat and maintain cleanliness there. He asked the officials to establish a pool for the immersion of idols and other materials. He also instructed to shift the dhobi ghaat to Patra. While reviewing the steam engine at boat club, Babulal Gaur asked the officials to make the place more attractive and also to carry out the cleanliness drive over there. He also visited other tourist destinations and instructed the officials to finish the work within time limit.

During the visit, BMC Additional Commissioner GP Mali, AK Khare of Capital Project, officials of MP Tourism, BMC and other officials were also present.
