‘Recover land where lease has expired’
BANGALORE: The property recovery committee of the BBMP council inspected the city's east zone on Wednesday and asked the officials to recover properties whose lease had expired.The committee asked officials to recover the property next to Ulsoor lake as its lease had expired and there was a court order against it as well. The committee noticed that several private parties were using the Palike land for commercial purpose, which was against the terms when the property was given on lease. The committee decided to consult legal cell to take action against such violators.
The committee directed officials to fence one acre of land belonging to the BBMP to protect it from encroachers.
