MCD holds demolition drive in Mangolpuri
The MCD held a demolition drive in Mangolpuri on Monday, in which 3,000 square metres of land was vacated from encroachers. V K Gupta, Deputy Commissioner (Rohini Zone), said a 1-km stretch of right-of-way comprising pavement and part of road in Q-Block, Mangolpuri, consisted of about 300 shops dealing in waste cloth cuttings. The market was known as Katran Market. Gupta added the residents in the area had been complaining about the encroachment.
