Illegal constructions in Charbagh area bulldozed

LUCKNOW: he enforcement wing of Lucknow Municipal Corporation (LMC) carried out an anti-encroachment drive in localities in and around Charbagh on Thursday. The squad bulldozed some 100 temporary and 105 permanent illegal structures constructed in the stretch — from Ganeshganj to Charbagh — seizing three truck loads of materials.

It was finally on Thursday that a team of municipal officials led by additional municipal commissioner cracked down on the encroachers demolishing their illegally constructed structures. The municipal officials claimed of having given notices to the occupants before carrying out the drive.
