HMDA takes steps to identify illegal buildings

Shankerpally has been chosen as first village by the Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority (HMDA) for identification of all the illegal constructions and illegal layouts. The identification would be followed by issue of notices to the gram panchayat for regularisation of such constructions/layouts.

According to a press release issued here, the HMDA Secretary, Rajeshwar Reddy on Wednesday inspected the Shamshabad zonal office and discussed issues related to the illegal layouts/construction and issue of notices to engineering colleges, who did not apply for regularisation. He instructed appropriate action to be initiated immediately.
