Disconnection drive

The Bangalore Water Supply and Sewerage Board (BWSSB), in its drive against unauthorised connections on April 3 and 4, disconnected 142 water connections, served notice in 77 cases and recovered dues totalling Rs. 3.86 lakh. According to a release, the drive was conducted in MEI Layout of North 1 subdivision; Kaggadasapura, Nagavarapalya, S.D. Palya, Lakshmipura, Indiranagar I Stage and HAL II Stage of South East 2; Sanjaynagar service station area and BEL Road of North East 3 subdivision; Coles Park and Shivajinagar of Central 2 subdivision; Kamalanagar of North West 2 subdivision; Kengunte of West 2 subdivision; Vijaya Bank Layout and Kathriguppe of South West 2; and Devagiri and Kottanur Dinne of South 2 subdivision.
