TDP MLC donates tanker to civic body

KADAPA: TDP MLC M. Venkatasiva Reddy donated a 3,950 litre water tanker, costing Rs.3.50 lakh to the Kadapa Municipal Corporation on Wednesday from his Constituency Development Fund (CDF) and Municipal Commissioner D. John Samson flagged it off.
Mr. Venkatasiva Reddy said, he spent Rs. 25 lakh from his Constituency Development Fund for drinking water by providing water purification plants and coolers in Yogi Vemana University, courts, Zilla Parishad high schools, colleges and hospitals.
The tanker would be used to supply water in Kadapa city, the Commissioner said. He thanked the MLC for his contribution.
TDP leaders Ameer Babu, K. Balakrishna Yadav, S. Jilani Basha, S.A. Sattar, V. Ravisankar Reddy, Municipal officials and staff participated.
