Design approved for multi-level parking

CHANDIGARH: Whereas the project of the first multi-level parking near Circus Ground in Sector 17 is still hanging fire, the architecture wing of Chandigarh administration has approved the design of a multi-level parking, which is to come up at the Gurdev parking lot in Sector 17, opposite the Reserve Bank of India's building.

The engineering wing of the civic body has already started working on the construction plan of this much-awaited multi-level parking lot in the city. According to information obtained from the engineering wing, initially, the civic body has sent the design of only one multi-level parking lot. Another multi-level parking lot is slated to come up in Sector 17, near Hotel Taj. Both these parking lots will be constructed by the civic body itself, instead of allotting these projects to any private contractor or company.
