Projects worth Rs.25 crore approved

The District Planning Committee meeting has approved projects worth Rs.25 crore to be implemented in the current financial year. In the Thodupuzha municipality 268 projects worth Rs.13.68 crore were approved. The main areas of the projects submitted by the municipality included road development, water supply schemes and land development and sanitation. The Devikulam block panchayat’s 122 projects worth Rs.13.11 crore were approved at the meeting. The main projects related to rural development, infrastructure building, health, sanitation, education and waste disposal. District Collector Ajith Patil, District Planning Officer C.V. Parameswaran Namboodiri and representatives of the local bodies attended the meeting.
