Accompanied by senior officials of the district administration, including Deputy Commissioner N.V. Prasad and city corporation Commissioner S. Kattimani. Mr. Islam went to many places in the city and inaugurated the schemes, including the online payment of property tax facility. The Gulbarga City Corporation is the third body after Bangalore and Hubli-Dharwad to have the online property tax payment facility. Under the facility, the property owners can pay their property tax to any designated branch online via Karnataka One Portal www.karnatakaone.gov.in. Mr Islam said that the city corporation had purchased various equipment, including street sweeping machine, water-based fuming machine, auto-tippers, multi purpose jetting units and solid waste segregation machine at a total cost of Rs 4.66 crore.

With the purchase of these equipment, the collection of solid waste would become easier and more orderly.
