The Bhopal Municipal Corporation (BMC) on Wednesday served notices to owners of vacant plots at Kiran Nagar for failing to deposit the development Fee.
The colony in question has been listed as an 'unauthorized colony' by the civic body.
During the recent visit of Urban Administration and Development (UAD) Minister Babulal Gaur to the area, residents of ward no; 63 complained of the unhygienic conditions around the vacant plots, which are a breeding ground for mosquitoes and cause seasonal ailments.
Following the complaints, the Urban Administration and Development Minister had directed the illegal colony cell of the Corporation to serve notices to vacant plot owners, who are yet to deposit the development fee.
