Bylaw violations: MC Commissioner pulls up building staff

Ludhiana: In order to check the violation of building bylaws, Municipal Commissioner A K Sinha called a special meeting of the staff on Monday. The staff of all zones have been called on Tuesday with one-year challan details and the recovery made after the issuance of challans. Sinha said apart from the building branch staff the zonal commissioners, too, should know the number of under construction buildings in their zones, how many plans have been sanctioned and what kind of violations were being done.
