HMDA to open more counters to get applications


HYDERABAD: The Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority (HMDA) has decided to simplify the procedure for receipt of applications for layout approvals and building permissions.

It will collect a uniform processing fee of Rs 10,000 besides simplifying the proforma of applications and adding on-line facility.

It will open extension counters to receive applications at the office at Tarnaka and zonal offices at Medchal, Shamshabad, Ghatkesar and Shankarpally.

While the Tarnaka counter will be open on all working days between 10.30 am and 3 pm, the counters at the zonal offices will function twice a week - on Monday and Thursday - between 10.30 am and 3 pm.
