Koilsagar drinking water scheme inaugurated

MAHABUBNAGAR: The Koilsagar drinking water scheme, which was taken up with a cost of Rs.76.5 crore to solve water problem of Mahabubnagar town, was inaugurated by the district in charge Minister and Minister for Information Technology Komati Reddy Venkat Reddy at Ramreddy Gudem on Tuesday.
Minister for Civil Supplies Jupally Krishna Rao and Minister for Small Scale Industries D.K.Aruna district Collector M. Purshotham Reddy also participated in the inaugural.
The Koilsagar scheme comes as a boon for residents of Mahabubnagar who were receiving the drinking water supply once in 12 days. The Ministers also inaugurated Mahila Pranganam, taken up with a cost of Rs. 40 lakh. They also unveiled the renovated statue of Mahatma Gandhi besides inaugurating Badam Rama Swami Golden Jubilee municipal auditorium.
