Water cuts on May 8, 9

A 30 per cent water will be in force in parts of the island city and Bandra on Wednesday and Thursday owing to work on the Vaitarna main pipeline between Andheri and Bandra. There is likely to be no water supply from 10 am on Tuesday to 4 pm on Wednesday. BMC officials said the work was expected to improve the water distribution system under the Mahim-Ruparel-Mahim-Vakola tunnel project. Areas particularly in South Mumbai such as Fort, Nariman Point, Chandanwadi, Bhuleshwar, Nana Chowk, Tardeo, Peddar Road, Walkeshwar, Dadar, and Worli will be affected.
