Water purifying plant opened

A coin-operated water purifying plant was inaugurated by Hyderabad MP Asaduddin Owaisi and Mayor Mohd. Majid Hussain at Syed Nagar 2 in First Lancer on Sunday. The plant consists of two tanks of 3,000 litres capacity each and can be operated by inserting a one rupee coin. A person can avail up to 11 litres of purified water for one rupee. The facility will benefit a few hundred families in the area. In November, a similar project was launched at Mahboob Colony in Asif Nagar.

Water adalat today

The Bangalore Water Supply and Sewerage Board (BWSSB) will hold water adalats of North West 1 and South 4 sub divisions on Monday between 9.30 a.m. and 11 a.m. Grievances of consumers from Kethamarana Halli, Rajajinagar 1 and 2, Mahalakshmi Layout, Nandini Layout 1 service station will be addressed at Kethamaranahalli. Consumers from HSR Layout, Kodichikkanahalli service station limits of South 4 sub division can attend the adalat to be held at BTM Layout. For details, call: 22945176.
