“Fit water flow control valve”
The Corporation urged the residents of wards 19, 26 and 27 to fit flow control valves in their drinking water connections.
In a statement, Assistant Commissioner, Melapalayam Zone, P. Jothilingam said the water scheme for the wards would be commissioned shortly.
Deadline
Hence, the residents, who have already have water connection with the old scheme, should change their connection to the new scheme and fit flow control valves after paying the stipulated amount before April 15.
Those who fail to switch over to the new scheme and fit flow control valve before the deadline will have to face disconnection of water supply.
